ESL in Kona
God has opened doors for us to teach English here in Hawaii through Kahakai Elementary School. Our ministry was chosen out of all the ESL programs here on the island! Our heart is to see the building of a bridge between the parents and their children. As immigrant families come over, the children struggle in school because of the language barrier and cannot receive help from their parents because they cannot speak the language either. It’s been so rewarding as we have been able to build relationships with these mothers, pray for them, and have even had one mother start going to a local church regularly!
